Medway Boat Launch Access Points 0 Public boat launch with ample parking, bathrooms, picnic tables. Located on the East Branch just above the confluence with the West Branch. Day prking only.
Mattaseunk Dam Put-in Access Points 8.5 Put-in on river left, east bank, at a roadside picnic site on Rt. 157 at the Molunkus/Mattawamkeag town line. Steep steps down to river.
Tannery Row Campsite Campsite 15.4 A short walk upstream are the remains of what was the biggest tannery in the United States until it burnt down in the 1930s. It was located there because of local sources of Hemlock bark used in tanning hides 8

Nibezun Campsite Campsite 47.3 Nibezun Campsite is Wabanaki owned and located on traditional Wabanaki meeting grounds. A Medicine Trail can be explored near the campsite. Please respect ceremonies and other events in session. 12

Sturgeon Leap Campsite Campsite 84.9 Town-owned site in Orrington, river left, located at the site of future Baker’s Landing Boat Launch. 10
South Orrington Boat Launch Access Points 87 Improved, concrete ramp for all boating types at higher tides located in small cove off Town Rd. Day parking.
Frankfort Boat Launch Access Points 95 At mid and high tide, one can access the Frankfort boat launch on Rte. 1A for day parking. It is just past Treat Point on the right. Treat Point has trails and is a good place to stretch legs and picnic.
Ferry Crossing Campsite Campsite 96 River right, beyond a point of granite blocks, and beyond a fallen tree. Use stairs beyond the fallen tree. 12

Verona Island Boat Launch Access Points 97.4 Improved, 20′ wide, all tide ramp for all boating types.
Joost Campsite Campsite 99 The Joost Campsite is located on Verona Island on the Eastern Channel of the Penobscot River. Arrive and depart within 2 hours of high tide to avoid a drag through the mud.
